The Los Angeles Times reports that actress and author Victoria Rowell has listed her Hollywood Hills home for $2.599 million. Sources say she has decided to sell the property located in the Beachwood Canyon area so she can spend more time with her husband, visual artist Radcliffe Bailey, in New York and Atlanta.
Rowell has been a soap opera star on television's The Young and the Restless for many years, starting in 1990 and retiring from its cast in 2007. She also held a longtime role on television's Diagnosis Murder but recently gained the title of author after writing The Women Who Raised Me and Secrets of a Soap Opera Diva.
The four-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bathroom home reportedly has 4,400 square feet of living space including a library, family and media rooms as well as a renovated kitchen.
The Times reports that the Mediterranean-style home has open terraces that include views of the city, canyon and surrounding mountains. According to the news source, some of the home's outdoor amenities include a swimming pool as well as Italian gardens and over-sized trees and hedges that offered the celebrity plenty of privacy.
