Television star Dick Clark moving out of Southern California

Mar 2 2012 4:54PM

Television personality Dick Clark and his wife are moving out of their Malibu home. Priced to match other homes for sale in Los Angeles County, the cavern-style home has been listed for sale for $3.5 million, according to its listing.

Clark began his career hosting American Bandstand back in the 1950s and went on to host a number of game shows as well as The Dick Clark Show. He also started his own production company, Dick Clark Productions in 1957, but sold it in 1957, making $175 million. Last year also marked the 40th anniversary of Dick Clark's New Year's Rocking Eve show.

The home sits on nearly 23 acres of land and has just one bedroom and two bathrooms. Some additional notable features of the home include its vaulted ceilings as well as a wine cellar. Located just minutes from the beach, floor-to-ceiling windows offer views of the ocean.

While it has not been reported where the couple will be moving to, they may still look to stay close to Hollywood.
