Popular real estate blog The Real Estalker reports that the winner of American Idol's seventh season, David Cook, has recently listed his home in Beachwood Canyon for sale. Records show he bought the home roughly this time last year for $1.318 million and has listed it with a slightly higher asking price of $1.495 million, much lower than many other celebrity homes for sale in Los Angeles County.
The guitar-playing singer and songwriter's self-titled album went platinum and he continues to have a large fan base throughout the country. Originally from Missouri, Cook relocated to Southern California shortly after winning and The Real Estalker says he still owns another home just outside of Kansas City.
According to the property's listing, the three-story home offers potential buyers 3,071 square feet of living space including three bedrooms and two-and-a-half bathrooms. Other features of the home include desirable views of the Los Angeles skyline and the Griffith Park Observatory, a top-of-the-line kitchen and an extensive list of upgrades including granite countertops and seemingly new hardwood floors.
