As celebrities continue to buy and sell real estate in Los Angeles County, news sources report that drummer Brad Wilk has added his Malibu home to the list of properties for sale in Southern California. While public records show he purchased the property back in 2003 for $1.9 million, The Los Angeles Times says it has now appeared on the market with a slightly higher asking price of $2.699 million.
Wilk has shared the beach house with wife and vocalist Selene Vigil, but may be looking to move into a larger home. The contemporary-themed house was built in 2001 and offers views of the coast while sitting up the hills. With 2,750 square feet of living space, two bedrooms and three bathrooms, potential buyers will have celebrity-style living at a less-than-average price for Malibu homes. Some notable features of the estate include walls of glass, a loft office and a large deck that is perfect for hosting friends and family members.
While it has not been reported where the couple will be moving to, they may choose to stay on California's coast, since it has been their long-time home.
