Known for his over-the-top personality, as evidenced in his famed Rush Hour movies, Hollywood funny man and financially troubled Chris Tucker recently sold his Tarzana property, removing it from the list of homes for sale in Los Angeles County.
Tucker, who most recently starred in the Oscar-winning Silver Linings Playbook, unloaded the 6,300-square-foot home located in the exclusive Mulholland Park gated community for a cool $2.1 million, according to TMZ.
The property, which boasts five en suite bedrooms as well as two additional bathrooms, was previously purchased in 1996 for a $1.1 million, resulting in an estimated $1 million profit for Tucker.
However, it's unclear how long these funds will remain in Tucker's shallow pockets. According to the Los Angeles County Recorder's Office, in 2010 Tucker was slapped with an $11.5 million tax bill from the IRS. But in a recent interview with Indy Week, Tucker said his tax problems have been handled.
Tucker was previously considered one of the highest-paid actors in Hollywood after signing on for a third installment of the Rush Hour franchise. Reports from 2007 indicate Tucker received an estimated $25 million to appear in the Rush Hour 3, which leaves many to question how exactly he managed to fall to far behind on back taxes.
