Actor Tom Hanks, and his wife Rita Wilson, recently added to the inventory of homes for sale in Los Angeles when they listed their Pacific Palisades mansion.
The property was put on the market for $5.25 million, and comes with four bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms. This is one of three properties Hanks and his wife own in the area, and they are moving to an estate they purchased three years ago for $26 million.
Built in 1929, the Pacific Palisades property is described as a "legendary villa" and measures 6,289 square feet. It boats a spectacular master suite, which includes a fireplace, a private beauty salon, and opens up to a terrace with ocean views.
Hanks is one of the most well-known actors in Hollywood, and has stared in moves such as Forrest Gump, Saving Private Ryan and Castaway. He was nominated for Best Actor for his role in Forrest Gump at the Golden Globe's and Academy Awards.
